“I can’t believe Roman and Reeve will be in Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 next year, only 1 year apart! My kids are currently in a Trilingual School, and Reeve is already reading in English and Spanish! I’ll be keeping that momentum, and also making sure the kids have time to play and explore their world through natural language acquisition”

Pre-K

We’re currently accepting applications and pre-registration for the summer session (beginning June 15th) and the school year (beginning August 3rd).

Everything in the classrooms will be new!

The program will offer Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 students’ instruction in French, Spanish, Chinese, and English.  Unlike most programs that ask families to pick a language track, The Quad will strive to make children lifelong learners of all four languages.

The goal will be to have at least 1 hour in Spanish, French, Chinese, and English daily.  Here’s a daily schedule example:

Each room will have a language theme, and children will rotate between rooms for lessons.  When students go to their Spanish room, for example, they will quickly learn that the expectation is to speak/think/play in Spanish.

Children entering Pre-K 3 need to be 3 years old by August 31st
Children entering Pre-K 4 need to be 4 years old by August 31st

Pre-K will use the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program.  The IB program will allow our teachers to move between languages in the curriculum so the students don’t have to repeat the same concept in multiple languages.  It’s also the curriculum used at Atlanta International School (AIS) and the International Charter School of Atlanta (ICSA), so children that move on to these language schools will have an easy transition with the style of learning.

Please refer to the Curriculum Tab for additional information.
