For Babies through Elementary, we’ve chosen the Lango Kids Curriculum.  Lango Kids is specifically tailored for children learning French, Spanish, and Chinese (Mandarin).  You can support your child’s progress with a subscription to Lango Kids.  Everything from songs, audio books, flash cards, and worksheets are available online.  For further information about Lango Kids and its programs, visit www.langokids.com

For ages 3 and up, The Quadrilingual Academy is a candidate school* for the Primary Years Program of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education- that we believe is important for our students.  * Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.  For further information about the IB and its programmes visit http://www.ibo.org.

Elementary Curriculum (Kindergarten-Third Grade)

The Quadrilingual Academy’s elementary program serves students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade. We are a multilingual school, teaching academic content in Spanish, French, Chinese, and English. The Quadrilingual Academy strives to make lifelong learners of all four languages. To achieve this goal, students will spend and average of 2.5 hours in their homeroom classroom, and 1 hour – 1.5 hours in each of the other languages at the elementary level. In addition, students will attend Physical Education, Technology, and Library class time in French and Art and Music in Spanish during the week.

The homeroom languages for each elementary grade level are as follows:

Kindergarten– English

1st Grade– Spanish

2nd Grade– French

3rd Grade– French

Students entering Kindergarten are required to demonstrate proficiency in all of the languages taught. Due to space limitations, priority enrollment will be offered to children graduating from our Pre-K 4 program, and with language proficiency in Spanish, French, English, and Chinese.

Language Arts Curriculum (Kindergarten- 3rd Grade):

  • English Language Arts (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade):
Students will engage with the McGraw Hill Wonders 2023 curriculum, which emphasizes comprehensive English language skills.
  • Spanish Language Arts (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade):
Students will follow the McGraw Hill Maravillas 2020 curriculum, designed to foster proficiency in Spanish language and literacy.
  • Chinese Language Arts (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade):
Students will utilize the Integrated Chinese curriculum in conjunction with the HSK Standard course, and the Sinolingua Reading Tree books.
  • French Language Arts (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade):
Our French Language Arts program is designed to develop strong literacy skills through explicit, systematic instruction while fostering a love of reading and writing.
    • Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade: Students follow La Méthode Explicite, a research-based literacy curriculum built on the gradual release of responsibility model (“I do, We do, You do”). Through explicit instruction, guided practice, and independent application, students develop phonological awareness, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, and writing skills.
    • 1st Grade: Students use Étincelles, a comprehensive French literacy program that supports students as they transition from learning to read to reading with increasing fluency and comprehension. The curriculum integrates reading, writing, oral language, vocabulary, and grammar through engaging, age-appropriate texts and activities.
To strengthen classroom instruction, students also use additional digital resources:
  • 1st grade: Logiciel Éducatif provides interactive games and activities that reinforce early literacy skills, letter recognition, phonics, vocabulary, and foundational reading concepts.
  • 2nd and 3rd Grade: Savio.fr offers differentiated digital practice in reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and language conventions, allowing students to reinforce classroom learning through engaging, self-paced activities.
Together, these curricula and digital resources provide a balanced approach to French literacy, ensuring that students build strong foundational skills while developing confidence and independence as readers and writers.

Mathematics (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade)
Our mathematics program is designed to build a strong foundation in mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding. This year, students will use the i-Ready Classroom Mathematics curriculum, which provides rigorous, standards-aligned instruction through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, mathematical discussions, and real-world applications.

Students will also use the i-Ready digital platform, which offers personalized instruction tailored to each student’s learning needs. The program includes adaptive diagnostic assessments that help teachers monitor student growth, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and provide targeted instruction throughout the school year.

Mathematics instruction is delivered in the language of each grade-level immersion program:
  • Kindergarten: Mathematics is taught in English using the i-Ready Classroom Mathematics curriculum.
  • 1st Grade: Mathematics is taught in Spanish using the Spanish edition of the i-Ready Classroom Mathematics materials.
  • 2nd and 3rd Grade: Mathematics is taught in French using the English edition of the i-Ready Classroom Mathematics curriculum, with instruction delivered in French to support students’ mathematical reasoning and academic language development.
By combining high-quality instructional materials with adaptive digital learning and ongoing assessment, the i-Ready Mathematics program ensures that students develop fluency, conceptual understanding, and confidence as mathematical thinkers while supporting their growth in the language of instruction.

Science (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade)

This year, our Kindergarten through 3rd Grade students will explore science through HMH Into Science, the same high-quality curriculum used by many school districts throughout the Metro Atlanta area. This engaging, hands-on program encourages students to think like scientists by asking questions, making observations, investigating real-world phenomena, and communicating their discoveries.

Through interactive lessons, STEM activities, experiments, and inquiry-based learning, students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while building a strong foundation in life, earth, physical, and engineering sciences. HMH Into Science aligns with the Georgia Standards of Excellence and supports every learner through meaningful, age-appropriate experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of science.
